Gift Aid

Gift Aid

The Gift Aid scheme allows you to give to the charity FOKH in such a way that we can reclaim tax back at the basic rate and thus increase the value of your gift. You need to confirm that you have paid or will pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) that you donate to will reclaim on your gifts for that tax year. Other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. The charity will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that you give on or after 6 April 2008. So, if you give £100 we can now reclaim £25 (prior to April 2008 it was £28).

You must inform us if you no longer pay sufficient income tax or capital gains tax so that we do not reclaim too much tax on your giving. When you declare below that you wish this and any future donations to Friends of Kiwoko Hospital to be under the Gift Aid scheme this does not commit you to any future giving. It simply means that we can treat future gifts from you as being under Gift Aid.

You can cancel your declaration at any time by phoning 02890–423387 or emailing feedback@fokh.org.uk
